What is Power Shake?

Power Shake is one of Purium’s most popular products, offering several energizing, gluten-free superfoods including organic Spirulina, organic wheatgrass, and organic buckwheat in one nutritional shake. What it is: Power Shake is Purium’s legacy green drink made of energizing, gluten-free superfoods including organic Spirulina, organic wheatgrass, and organic buckwheat. These premium ingredients combine to create one all-encompassing super shake.  The Purium Power Shake is also the core nutrition shake for Core 4, the 10-Day Transformation and the Ultimate Lifestyle Transformation. It comes in Original (unflavored) or Apple-Berry flavor.  It is recommended to use as a meal replacement for one or more meals each day, please note, this is not one of the various protein shakes, Purium has additional protein powders or pill supplements to address protein needs.  You can also add a banana or add frozen fruit for smoothies to modify the taste if desired.

Ingredients:

Rice Bran Solubles – vital for maintaining normal cholesterol levels and blood glucose control.  They are also an all-natural source of vitamin E type tocopherols and tocotreinols and contain a variety of B vitamins, Q-10, gamma oryzanol, folic acid, and more. Organic Rice Bran Solubles is the outer, soluble part of brown rice that normally gets cooked away. Soluble rice bran is the fuel of many Asian martial artists.
Organic oats – great source of fiber and manganese that may also help support healthy blood sugar levels and enhance immune system response.
Organic spirulina – nature’s most complete nutrient source, containing over 60% complete vegetarian protein, an abundance of chlorophyll and essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and nucleic acids, as well as nature’s highest source of a new class of immune enhancers, a photosynthetic pigment called phyco-can.  An all-natural ‘multivitamin’ in and of itself. For APPLE-BERRY POWER SHAKE ONLY: Organic raspberry flavor and Organic apple flavor were added to give the Power Shake a sweeter taste without adding anything harmful, unnatural or sugar based.

Suggested Use:

Mix five and a half tablespoons (35.5 g) leveled but not packed, with 10 to 20 oz of cold water or your favorite non-dairy creamy beverage.  Take on an empty stomach 1 to 4 times each day.  Best mixed in a shaker cup or bottle.  Great prior to, during or after exercise or activity.
