How to Lose 5 Pounds in a Week Diet and Exercise Plan

The goal is to eat at least 500 less calories a day and burn further 500 calories in a form of exercise. Eating less than 1200 calories a day is dangerous, therefore I recommend that you start out with at least 500 less calories a day and slowly get to the 1200 daily calories mark.

Drinking lots of water can also help in losing weight and to keep your stomach full, although it is temporal (it will last until you flush off all the liquid from your body) but while it lasts you will feel less hungry. And water has zero calories which is ideal drink for weight loss.

Regarding diet, make sure that you switch your regular sugar to Stevia as it has zero calories. You will be amazed how much calories you will save in your daily: coffee, tea, milk shake, cakes, lemonade, etc.

Always crave for 1 banana as it is low in calories but useful to fill up your stomach and ideal for weight loss because it can help you to combat diarrhea (a common symptom when starting out a weight loss plan).

For your daily exercise plan I recommend walking or swimming. Cardio exercise really helps to lose weight and to regulate high blood pressure and pulse. By simply walking 1 hour a day at 4km/h speed you will burn 309 calories (depending on your current weight). Therefore 97 minutes of daily walking will burn 500 calories a day!
