Today I will share with you a juice recipe that can help you to beat bad cholesterol. The 2 key ingredients for this juice are: grapefruit and celery.
As you know there are 2 types of cholesterol: good HDL cholesterol and LDL bad cholesterol. An increase of bad cholesterol levels can increase that chances of a heart disease.
There are over half a million people with high bad cholesterol levels and this is why I decided to write a juice recipe that can help to beat high bad cholesterol levels.
Certain foods can help to reduce cholesterol and grapefruits and celery are couple of them. Grapefruit is good to fight bad cholesterol because it is high in vitamin C and pectin. These two key nutrients helps to melt fat that is clogging your blood vessels.
Eating celery 2 times a day can reduce cholesterol up to 5 times. Reducing cholesterol levels is important because as a side effect it increases bile acid which is responsible to melt fat from the blood vessels (reducing bad cholesterol).

You need 5 ingredients to prepare this juice recipe and these are:
- 2 whole grapefruits
- 4 sticks of celery
- 1 parsley
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 ginger
Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix it till you feel it is thick enough. I recommended that you drink 1 glass of this juice twice a day. Do not keep in the fridge, it is better that you drink it fresh straight from the blender to get better results. (Fresh fruits loses its quality nutrition if not drink or eat fresh). That is it!
