Who we are
HealthStatus LLC was formed in 1998 (reorganized as an LLC in 2016), and is a privately held company located in Indianapolis, Indiana. By using the algorithms from the Healthier People project of the Carter Center of Emory University, an Internet based health risk assessment was created, along with several calculators to take a quick snapshot of a person’s health. This coincided with the mission of HealthStatus: To enable people to quickly and easily determine and track the status of their health and health risks compared to U.S. national averages, and scientific standards. We continue on this mission by adding more assessments and calculators and making them available to consumers by visiting our site. Our tools are also available for license by other websites, please visit HRA.net if you are interested in adding our assessments to your website, or using them in your wellness program.
Our Team
Greg White
Greg started HealthStatus back in 1998 with one of the very first health risk assessments offered online. Using peer reviewed studies such as Healthier People Health Risk Assessment published by the Carter Center of Emory University, American Diabetes Association, Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). Can J Sport Sci. 1992; 17:338-345 Shephard R, Bailey DA, Mirwald RL, National Cholesterol Education Program NHLBI Information Center, American Heart Association – Dietary Guidelines for Healthy Americans, Alcohol, Dietary Guidelines for Americans from Fifth Edition, 2000, US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Health and Human Services, pp. 36-37, Dupuy HJ. Chapter 9: The Psychological General Well-Being (PGWB) Index, and other references, an interactive set of health assessment tools and calculators was created. Greg has used his over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness fields to continue to grow HealthStatus into a trusted resource. Greg has been interviewed and quoted by publications such as The Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and GQ magazine. His assessments have been on sites like the Merck Manuals, Optum Health, Regence Health Care, Life Advantages, Ascension Health and many more. Greg has been an active Purium Brand Partner since 2017 and uses many of the products on a regular basis and lost 18 pounds his first time using the Ultimate Lifestyle Transformation.
Writing Team

Statement of Faith

- We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, only those who place their faith in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross will be saved. When a person believes in Jesus, God–the Holy Spirit, gives that person a brand new life–he or she is born anew. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Galatians 4:6)
- We believe that all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obeying God’s commands as found in the Bible and by yielding daily to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:20-26; John 14:23-24; Romans 12:1-3)
- We believe that those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ will live eternally with God (heaven), and that those who have not placed their faith in Jesus will live eternally without God (hell). (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:1-15; Revelation 21:8)
What we do:::
HealthStatus works to add easy to use, useful, calculators and assessments to the Internet. We have been recognized in both electronic and print media as a straightforward and reliable source for health calculations. At the end of 1999 HealthStatus.com had placed ten calculators and assessments on the Internet, by 2002 that has grown to fifteen calculators and five different assessments. Members also can use our personal tracker software, which tracks critical health measures over time.
HealthStatus LLC is a non-covered entity. We protect your information using HIPAA standards and we do not share your personally identifiable medical information with anyone.
We started HealthStatus.com in 1998 and sold that website to Finixio Ltd in 2019. HealthSurgeon.com is now our primary
