Allergic reactions are another cause of skin peeling.  Allergic reactions can occur from different laundry detergents, shampoos, soaps, or fabric softeners.  Other allergens are metals like nickel, plants, or latex.

Chemical exposure can cause skin peeling.  Using certain cleaners, or cleaning wipes can also cause irritation.  Some chemical burns need medical assistance.  If you have been in contact of any chemical substance it is best to get help immediately.
