By having a strong metabolism you can enjoy life fully because it means (theoretically) you can eat whatever you want and still lose weight. This is why I decided to write an article about how to boost metabolism fast in the morning.

Some people think that starvation is the way forward for weight loss. However starvation diet will only slowdown your metabolism which means it will force your body to hold on in to every single bit of fat and burn muscle mass instead.

This is the reason why you should concentrate in boosting your metabolism first before starting out a weight loss plan.

What is Metabolism?

Metabolism is the rate which the body burns calories. You may know people that no matter how much they eat they seem never to get overweight or obese. Ever wonder why? It is because their metabolism is very strong and this is why you should focus on boosting your body metabolism in the morning.

Generally speaking after age of 30 your body metabolism starts gradually to slowdown, this is due to hormones. Stress is also a big culprit to slowdown the body calories burning rate. But there are still ways to improve metabolism even after 30.

How Can I Boost Metabolism?

There are several ways to boost metabolism and the number one is to never skip breakfast. Because this meal will start off your daily metabolism. Ideally you want to have green tea or coffee. It is been proven that caffeine speeds up metabolism for a short period of time. Drinking too much caffeine is not advisable as it can cause numerous negative side effects such as insomnia.

Regarding diet, if you consume between 1200-1500 calories a day (in order to lose weight) the body metabolism will eventually slowdown. This will happen because your body will tell to your brain to start storing fat as I am not getting enough calories. The solution is to split 3 course meals into 6 small meals and spread them evenly throughout the day.

And finally the best way to boost metabolism is to do cardio exercise. Doing cardio for 60 minutes a day will improve your metabolism within 3 months. It will also product testosterone which will strengthen your muscles and bones.
